Food and drinks are fantastic and the patio is spacious and partly covered. I’ll definitely come again next time I’m in town!

I came for lunch while on a road trip- the patio was great (covered on 3 sides and on top- it stayed warm enough for the winter and it should stay cool enough for summer dining too) and the food and service was fantastic! I had the margarita pizza and my dog Lilo thoroughly enjoyed the free biscuits and water bowl (and a few bites of pizza crust haha). Will definitely come again the next time I’m in Lufkin!

We went for lunch after hiking the canyon in the morning- dogs are welcome inside!

Location was great (near Palo Duro Canyon) and they welcome pets inside and out!

Restrooms were nice and clean, welcome center is fun to look around, but dogs aren’t welcome inside. There is an enclosed dog area and green space for your dog to potty on-leash, so still a good spot for a potty break for everyone

We did an early hike before it got too hot, then we drove around the park. Very fun place to explore with a lot of wildlife to see! I enjoyed birding and spotting a few horned lizards

We had a blast! The captain we had was happy to have the dogs on board and the dogs had fun too. We saw a bunch of dolphins!

We love exploring and shopping at bass pro, especially when the weather is too hot, cold, or rainy to explore outside. The fish tank is awesome and they have a great dog shopping section with toys, treats, and other supplies!

Lilo enjoyed walking around with me and getting pets from a few employees and customers! It was a great way to get her some exercise and stimulation while the weather was cold. We’ll definitely be back!

I bring Lilo on a regular basis and she always loves it! The staff are super friendly and love dogs- they even have treats at the cash register!

The market on main is a super fun place to stop and shop. It’s a bunch of little stores in one! They have everything from toys to shirts to soaps to candy to dog treats (and everything in between).

This little old cabin is fun to walk up to and check out! You can’t go inside, but there are little alcoves with windows looking inside and you can read and hear information about the cabin built in 1845!

Great central location with lots of shade!

We tried coming a few days ago but it was mid-day and too hot. We came back this morning and the weather was perfect! We had a fantastic time! The trails were well maintained and my pup Lilo thoroughly enjoyed herself

Great place to stop and shop while you’re driving through Garden of the Gods!

There are a lot of trails, some of which are shaded! Some trails are rather flat while others are more for hiking. We really enjoyed exploring the area!

Great dog-friendly patio with shade, fun atmosphere, friendly staff! They brought out a water bowl. Meals were just good, but appetizers were absolutely fantastic

Lilo seemed to really enjoy the trip! Would definitely ride again if given the chance. The train whistle was fairly loud though, so maybe avoid if your dog is sensitive to loud noises

River Legacy is an amazing place to visit with your dog! It’s also a great place for birding and seeing other wildlife

Fantastic food and great atmosphere- patio is dog friendly and covered for rain or shine (and enclosed when it’s cold). Perfect place for a road trip stop!

The garden is absolutely beautiful and most of the trails are super shady so it’s a great place to go with your pup

Perfect activity for hot summer days

Great place to stop with your dog. Food and drinks were delicious! The live music can get pretty loud in the evenings though so be aware of that if your pup is sensitive to sound.

Great little place with lots of wine options! Dogs are welcome on the covered outside patio and inside (if well behaved). All the employees are dog lovers. They also gave my pup a water cup. I will definitely return in the future!

Patio was covered and had fans so it wasn’t too terribly hot! Food and drinks were great

Room was clean and there were grassy areas to walk my pup all around the hotel! I would definitely stay here again in the future.

It’s the only dog spot I could find in Van Horn! It’s not very big but it’s a good spot to let your pup potty or play off-leash
