  It’s Pitiful!

  This is literally a 20 x 25’ fenced in dirt field behind a gas station. Semis are all over the place and it’s noisy and smelly. Look for Veteran’s Memorial Park about 2 minutes away. It’s fairly forgotten as well, but the field is fenced where our pup could run without the big noises. We were the only ones around. As long as you pick up, who could complain.

  a small but usable little dog park at a big gas station. the only bummer is that it was really dirty with pet waste

  Better than most gas stations.

  We stopped for gas here purely because of this “dog park” feature. The gravel is pretty ragged and hot on their feet but it gave them time off leash to pick their perfect spots to go. There aren’t any waste bags, so bring your own.

  Pretty good

  It’s the only dog spot I could find in Van Horn! It’s not very big but it’s a good spot to let your pup potty or play off-leash

  Perfect for traveling

  I thought this was the nicest thing. There's not a lot of frills, it's just a pebbled, fenced off dog park with one bench, a picnic table, a trash can, and a potty pole with baggies and a poo trash can. But it was nice when traveling to let my dog off his leash for a few minutes and let him wander, smell, and potty.
