We have two Chinooks, Munjebel and Eighmey (“Amy”) - great car dogs and fellow travelers.

Went to LI for a wedding, and needed a nearby place to stay with dogs. Comfortable room, easy for the dogs, nice area to walk dogs, decent breakfast, helpful staff.

Big grassy dog park with lots of room to run and play – and an area with a training course. And on a fairly hot day, this park had shade and was reasonably cool. Good idea, though, to bring your own water – though there is a pump, it was just a trickle.

As expected, pretty basic and spare, but clean, felt modern, and got exactly what we paid for with no disappointment. And a quieter spot than many of the other motels off that (very convenient) exit. And our dogs slept well.

Well appointed rooms and great views of the lake. There's a paved walking path along the lake right outside that's good for on-leash walking.

lots of space, a beautiful off-leash destination

Huge fenced in area where you and your pups can walk the trails inside the fence - off leash. Friendly community vibe. Lush vegetation. well maintained.
