This restaurant opens at 11:00am, so we got on line around 10:20am knowing how popular it is. We were the fifth group on line, and by 10:40am the line was crazy long.
We went to do the Popover & Prosecco Bar not the full restaurant, so being fifth on line we immediately got a table and ordered our food at the bar.
The seating at the Popover & Prosecco Bar is first come first serve.
The popovers were delicious and Rex was able to sit with us. He enjoyed the shady area. The views at Jordan Pond House are beautiful, although the view from the patio isn’t as full of a view since you are off to the side.
It was much better waiting the 40 minutes on line over the hour + long wait I see most people have to deal with. I have also seen that they to hit their “dog quota” sometimes, so this ensured we would be able to have Rex with us.

We stopped here to try their blueberry soft serve (which was amazing!). They had a small dog friendly patio that we ate our ice cream at.

This is a counter service restaurant. I was used to walking in and ordering at places while my husband waited outside with Rex, however the lady at the counter immediately invited them in telling us they were dog friendly everywhere!
We ordered our food and were assigned a table outside, then brought our food when it was ready. The lobster was delicious!
I noticed they did have pet bowls off to the side, but we brought our own. Rex laid under our table in the shade while we ate.

Out of all the places we ate during our trip, this one was the most dog friendly! We were seated on their patio with stunning views, and were immediately brought ice water for both us and our dog Rex!
The food was great, and the service was very fast! They had multiple people coming around to ensure everyone had water & coffee refills.
I loved that the tables were spread out, so we did not feel like we needed to keep him on a super tight leash. He was able to lay down and spread out while we ate.
When someone came to refill our coffees, she noticed Rex and asked if she could bring him a homemade gluten free treat!
Highly recommend eating here! We arrived around 7:30am after sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, and the patio was completely empty. By 8:15am almost every table on the patio was full. So I do recommend getting here early!

This place was great! We visited in October when it was chilly out, so when I saw this place had overhead heaters I immediately added it to our list. We ate dinner here and the food was amazing, and the tables were spaced out enough that even with a couple with a dog sitting at the table next to us, we were able to keep our dogs away from each other.
It was a chilly night, but with the heaters overhead I didn’t even notice. I was even able to take off my sweater which was nice. Try the blueberry martini!

This dog park is always hit or miss. Sometimes I’m there for hours with no issues and other times I can’t even make it past the gate. I usually scope it out from the parking lot before heading in but sometimes it’s difficult since my dog gets so excited and I feel awful getting him excited and then leaving.
It seems like 70% of the people that come to this park are oblivious and believe their dog can do no wrong, 20% freak out if another dog even play bites theirs and then 10% are actually decent people that pay attention and aren’t afraid to admit when their dog isn’t behaving.

Went there this morning with my fiancé and our pup and I was surprised to hear they allowed dogs inside too! That was nice since you place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. I originally planned on ordering inside while he waited outside however it’s nice to know if I was alone I would be allowed to walk in with him to order.
