Norton Point Beach is a pet-friendly waterfront area in Edgartown, MA. It's a 2.5-mile-long beach that serves as an important barrier between Katama Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Dogs are welcome to join you on this beach from September 1-15 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM and September 16-March 31 at any time. They're not allowed from April to August since it is a nesting habitat. Remember to clean up after your pet.

Great Place If You Have A Over The Sand Driving Permit
Dogs are allows on norton point on leash only during the summer because of the nesting birds. In order to get to that part of the beach you need an over the sand driving permit or you can walk it but it’s a long walk down the beach.
