    Leashed dogs are welcome on the pet-friendly East Beach and all public beaches in Galveston, TX year round. Also known as R.A. Apffel Park, the East Beach is located at the far eastern tip of the island, and features a pavilion, boardwalk with stage, restrooms, concessions and other amenities.
