    Beautiful, easy stroll

This place is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Great gardens, great ocean views, and great to pups. Nice way to spend a morning before picking our way down the coast.

    Amazing Garden

This beautiful place is very dog friendly. We walked through the gardens and down to the bluffs. So serene. Lots of benches along the way for taking a break. Calle made many new friends.

    Lovely place

We had no problem bringing our dog in to the gardens. They have quite a lot of space to walk around. Like others have said, it is about 1.5 hours to see the entirety of the gardens.

Beautiful gardens and plenty to see!

I highly recommend going to this place. Like another person already mentioned, the loop takes about 1 1/2 hours to complete and it's best to bring water for your pup(s). We went in the morning and were told that the $15 per person entrance fee could be used all day and to just show our receipt if we wanted to come back for a picnic in the garden, etc. They also have a cafe that is open seasonally. The views along the loop are amazing and you will see the gardens and the coastline.

    Beautiful long walk

Docents are very helpful and dog friendly. Takes about 1.5 hrs for whole walk. Worth it to do the whole walk for ocean views. Bring water for you and dog. No drinking fountains on trail. So many sites for you, so many smells for your dog.

    dog friendly stroll

My friend and I were looking for neat, dog friendly attractions. We were pleasantly surprised with the gardens. They were beautiful and way larger than anticipated. There was a great variety of scenery. We especially loved the dahlias. The path goes all the way down to the beach bluffs. This place had treats for the pups at the entrance and doggie bags. We also found a dog bowl next to a hose in one of the gardens. They just ask that your dogs are on 6' leashes or less. And dogs are free! Good times.

    LOVE This Dog Friendly Place

This is a wonderful place to take a great walk with your dog. The care keepers are very nice and even have water bowls and treats out for your doggie companion. They are very helpful at pointing out the best route to take (say if you want shade for your Siberian Husky!) or what plants to avoid letting your pooch get too close to (can you say cacti). This is great place any time of year! Dogs are no extra cost to admit. Take your doggie poop-baggies with you, the walk is longer then you think (winding paths) and there are no dispensers except at the gate.
