Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve

Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve is dog friendly and open to the public at no charge. Owned and operated by the Land Trust of North Alabama, the area offers 25.7 miles of marked hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult. All visitors must sign in at the trailhead before beginning their hike. Guests can enjoy overlooks, waterfalls, creeks, meadows, and a variety of flora and fauna. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails, and the owners provide water at various points and maps at sign in. Visit Website
