  TICKS EVERYWHERE

  BEWARE!!! Ticks are abundant here!! Don’t be fooled by pathways and groomed areas. We found 2 ticks imbedded on our poor fur baby and days later found another two more along with one on my person. We had to deep clean car and apartment since they just seemed to be everywhere even days after. Now we are in a state of monitoring our health to see if any symptoms present themselves. We found lone star and deer ticks be careful!!

  On my second visit to this dog park, my toy breed Papillon was attacked by a Staffordshire Terrier within seconds of us entering the small dog section. I scooped my dog up in my arms and was headed out of the gate when the attacking dog followed us, jumped up and latched onto my dog's tail! I was screaming by that point, "Get your dog off of my dog!", when the owner finally responded and retrieved his animal. The owner then proceeded to put his dog on leash and leave the park with no apology or concern for the well being of my pet. When I asked him to wait while I checked my little dog for injury he replied, "If your dog was hurt you would know it by now!" I have already incurred $1,200 in vet bills due to the injuries my little dog sustained at the Isaac Dog Park that day. Next week I will be spending another $3,200 to repair the total tear to my pet's CCL that was a subsequent injury due to the initial trauma of this attack.

  very small dp for the big dogs, smaller than many yards, we dont use the dp we take our dog on tall the different trails thru the woods there on the calverton property,

  For Riverhead Residents ONLY

  I took my dog on a weekday & no one was at the park. At the very top of rules list it states, "Dog park is Riverhead residents only." Since no one was there I went ahead & checked it even thou I was not allowed to be there. The small dog part was nice but the large dog part had a lot of feces on the ground.
