San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site

General site tours of San Felipe de Austin in Texas include memorial features such as a bronze statue of Stephen F. Austin, a commemorative obelisk, and a replica log cabin. The visitors center currently houses small images, a diorama of the colonial capital circa 1830, and activity areas for weekend programs. Interpretive panel exhibits are provided both in the visitors center and on the grounds. Pets are welcome on site provided they are kept on a leash. Pets are not permitted inside the buildings.
