TripAdvisor

Wilderness State Park is rated 2.8 bones out of 5 by 4 canine critics on BringFido, and 4.5 stars out of 5 by 160 guests on TripAdvisor.

Customers have mixed opinions about Wilderness State Park, with some praising its beautiful scenery and camping facilities while others criticize the severely limited dog beach areas, which span only about 60-75 feet despite the park's 26 miles of shoreline. Some visitors feel misled about the inadequate space for walking dogs and express frustration with the non-refundable park fee policy.
