Not 100% dog accessible but Defi enough to do!

We had a great time doing easy hikes here with our pup. It's a large park, so lots of room for pups. Only issue is they aren't allowed in the picnic areas.

Great place to bring a pup. We camped here with our pup in a pet friendly site. Lots of pet friendly hiking trails. My pup even did the Eagle Trail (pretty difficult trail, gets steep and rocky) but I maintain my pup is part mountain goat. There are a couple pet restricted areas, like the beach and picnic area by the beach, but there is plenty to do and see with your pup here!

We were here a few years ago with our dog and we were very unimpressed. On the last day we were in the park, our family was out on the lake in their kayaks and a few of us stayed back, my younger cousin was swimming. We were planning on eating lunch with the rest of the family when they got back before heading out (already early because there wasn't much to do that was dog friendly in the area). We were at a picnic table near the beach, but still on the grass, mind you people were walking passed us with their dogs and asking to pet our girl, who was being a very good girl. We were approached by a worker who said we could not have our dog there, that we had to go to the 'wooded area' that was the designated dog area that was alllllll the way across the parking lot, which was really far from the beach. So we couldn't even sit with our family on the grass anywhere remotely close to the lake. We decided it was pointless and left right then and there.
