Quartz Lake State Recreation Area
The dog-friendly Quartz Lake State Recreation Area is a 600-acre park in Delta Junction, AK which often attracts large crowds due to the variety of recreational opportunities available. Take your dog on an adventure and explore the five hiking trails in the park, offering extraordinary views of the Tanana River Valley, Alaska Range, Shaw Creek Flats, Quartz and Lost Lakes, and Moose Pond. There are also opportunities for camping, picnicking, ice fishing and swimming. Pets are welcome at state parks and campgrounds if leashed and accompanied by their owner at all times. Please clean up after your pet.
