Montaña de Oro State Park

Dogs are allowed at Montaña de Oro State Park, where stunning cliffs, beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills dominate the landscape. Fido can join you at the pet-friendly picnic areas, campsites and park roads, but is not permitted to wander on the beaches or trails. The one beach that does allow dogs is Spooner’s Cove beach, where Islay Creek empties into the Pacific Ocean. Remember to keep Fido leashed at all times on the uneven terrain. Visit Website
