Shenipsit State Forest

Dogs are welcome at Shenipsit State Forest. This pet-friendly park is home to the Shenipsit Forest Trail. This five-mile loop is of moderate difficulty, but is well worth the strain for the stunning views across the rest of the forest. You can bring Fido with you on the trail and elsewhere as long as they are on a leash. There are a number of other trails that can be found across the 7,000 acres and 11 parcels of forest.
