Dogs are welcome to enjoy a picnic with scenic views or a walk on the nature trails at pet-friendly Gasparilla Island State Park in Boca Grande, FL. This fisherman's paradise is separated from the mainland by Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound and is one of the Gulf Coast barrier islands. Dogs are not permitted on the beaches or in the Boca Grande Lighthouse. Pets must be well-behaved and kept on a six-foot, handheld leash at all times. There is a small entrance fee to visit the park.
