Jefferson Davis Memorial Park
Dogs are welcome at Jefferson Davis Memorial Park in Fitzgerald, GA, where there are 13 different picnic sites to hang out at together. This area in Irwin County commemorates the spot where Confederate States President Jefferson Davis was captured by United States Cavalry in 1865. You and Fido can walk through the very pine forest where the Confederate troops were camping out before their capture. Leashed pets are allowed on the trails, however they are not allowed in the buildings.
