Apple River Canyon State Park
Dogs are welcome at Apple River Canyon in Apple River, IL. This pet-friendly park is home to five different trails: Pine Ridge, Tower Rock, River Route, and Sunset and Primrose Trail that all wind through the woods of the park. You must keep Fido on a leash under six feet for the duration of their visit and owners are reminded to clean up after their pooch. Visitors are welcome to pull up a pew at one of the picnic tables around the rural park.
