Leashed dogs are welcome at Clinton Lake State Recreation Area in Dewitt, IL. This pet-friendly 9,300-acre space is home to the cooling lake for the Exelon Power Station, the Clinton Lake. Boating and fishing are very popular here. You and Fido can explore the more than 5 miles of hiking trails throughout the area as well. Please note that pets are not permitted on the beach.
