Lacey-Keosauqua State Park
Lacey-Keosauqua State Park is a dog-friendly destination in Keosauqua, IA. The main attraction at this 1,653-acre park are the 19 Native American burial mounds that overlook the Des Moines River. Leashed dogs can join you on the many trails that lead around the mounds and into the woods. The trails wind through valleys and cliffs along the rivers banks and feature a variety of wildlife, plants and wildflowers, along with some trees dating back 200 years.
