Lewis and Clark State Park in Onawa, Iowa is pet friendly. Located along the shores of Blue Lake, formed by the Missouri River many years ago, this park was one of the stops that Lewis and Clark made on their great expedition in 1804. Dogs are welcome to enjoy walking the trails with you around the lake and through nearby woodlands, but please remember to keep them on a leash under six feet in length and to clean up any mess they leave behind.
