Pikes Peak State Park
Pikes Peak State Park is a pet-friendly destination in McGregor, IA. Leashed dogs are invited to join their owners on eleven-and-a-half miles of trails around the park, many of which lead through wooded bluffs and valleys. This picturesque park is hugely popular among visitors on the hunt for the perfect picture of the Mississippi River, and you may even spot some ancient fossil remains along the way.

the pups cannot go inside the building however they can go all around the observation areas.

We were glad to take Hilton to the top, as they let dogs on the bus. However once there, we couldn't go into the visitor center.

stopped here for a break and a short walk and the trails are nice and easy. buddy(my dog) enjoyed it.
