Red Haw State Park
Red Haw State Park is pet-friendly destination in Chariton, IA. There's a multi-use trail around the 70-acre lake that offers a scenic view for dog walkers. Dogs are welcome in the park and on the grassy trail that weaves around the lake, as long as they are on a leash under six feet. Owners are also reminded to clean up any mess after their pooches to preserve the cleanliness of the water and surrounding area.
