Dogs are welcome to join their owners at the Allagash Wilderness Waterway in Millinocket, ME. This pet-friendly wilderness area is protected, and visitors come from all around to escape the stresses of day to day life, always taking any thing they bring home with them again, including Fido's mess. The park is described as a ribbon of lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams among the Maine North Woods, including much of the Allagash River, so if you don't have a kayak and your dog isn't a fan of the water, this may not be the park for you.
