Shackford Head State Park
Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Shackford Head State Park near downtown Eastport, Maine. The park spans 90 acres on Moose Island and overlooks, at times, the pretty coastline of Cobscook Bay. There are several miles of pet-friendly trails that weave around the park through woodland to rocky headlands. You'll discover plenty of pocket beaches and coves along the way that can be accessed by pooches from October 1st through March 31st.
