Washington Monument State Park is a dog-friendly recreational area in Middletown, MD. You and Fido can hop on a section of the Appalachian Trail to get to the centerpiece of the park, Washington Monument, the first completed monument in George Washington's memory. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on a leash under six feet, as long as owners clean up any mess after them.
