Chief Plenty Coups State Park
Dogs are allowed at Chief Plenty Coups State Park in Pryor, MT. The park is named after the diplomatic leader of the Crow Nation, Chief Plenty Coups, and is where his log home and farmstead still stand. With his leadership, he tried to bridge the gap between the settlers and natives in the area during the 19th century. Experience what life would have been like in Montana at that time, as well as exploring the nature trails with your pooch. Fido is welcome in the pet-friendly outdoor areas of the park, as long as he is leashed and cleaned up after. Opening times vary depending on the season, so be sure to check their website in advance.
