Catawba County Eastbound I-40 has a pet-friendly area for dogs to stretch their legs at in Claremont, NC. This spacious green lawn is ideal for exercising dogs, eating lunch at a picnic table, and enjoying some time out of the car together. The area includes a maintained garden and shade trees that make this look more like a park than a rest stop. Leashed dogs are welcome and must be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in the building. The rest stop is always open.
