    Very good!

A water fountain, benches, a nice walking trail, plenty of space, fenced in, a leash hanging rack, trees, toys, a fake fire hydrant, 2 swimming pools, and bushes. I wish it had more obstacles but overall the people and dogs there were very friendly.

    It's OK

I go to this park a lot because it's close to home. There may be no one else there, nice dogs & people, or ill-mannered dogs & owners on their phones paying no attention to them.
It's a good size park with a water station. However, a large part of it is dirt with holes from dogs digging.
Bottom line, for a short stop, it's a decent enough place. As with any dog park, you need to use precautions.

    We love our community park

Avalon Dog Park is a great park. It’s within walking distance of our place. There’s plenty of shade, water faucet, benches, it’s clean. There’s a group of regulars that go weekly around 6 pm. For the most part, the dogs are all well behaved. Every once in a while you’ll have an irresponsible pet parent with a misbehaved dog that ruins the fun, but doesn’t stop us from going. It stops them from coming back.

    Great dog park!

I didn't think I would be able to find it but I did! I brought my two German Shepherd mixes today and they loved it. Although we were the only ones here it's still fun! There are four benches, two baby pools, lots of trees, and random tires scattered throughout. And from what I can tell it's clean.

    Great Dog Park

I really liked this park and me having a beagle he is extremely social. My dog has met all kinds of dogs and I notice that they love to play. To owners rough house and playing does not mean aggressive or bad. Dogs are like kids and like to play. Owners are really good hear and know when to back off so I feel safe leaving my dog unleashed here. My puppy beagle plays with a full grown boxer who is strong and gently

    Aggressive Untrained Dogs

It was fun the first time I was there because it was empty. Went back there 3 more times it was nothing but a nightmare. Some Aggressive Untrained Dogs and the owners know it but just don't give a crap. Please don't go if you care about your friendly good dogs...

    average park

The area is full of so any townhouses, apartments, and houses without a fence I think it's just meant to be somewhere for your dog to run off some energy. No it doesn't have all the fancy equipment like other parks but it's nice that the area actually has a leash free dog friendly area. I don't know the specifics but they are planning on putting a water fountain in for dogs, it was all organized and planned by a little girl I believe. It's across the street from Publix right by the basketball courts behind a set of townhouses. I'll take my dog there sometimes when I get home for work for him to run around for about half an hour and to socialize. All the people there are nice and usually bring a bowl of water for anyone to use. Of course some dogs jump and some play rougher than others, but ever single dog park I've been to has that. Every time I've witnessed anyone's dog get to rowdy they'll stop them. I personally don't mind, unless my dog whines or is obviously scared but, it's never gotten to that point. I've seen all different breeds and sizes and I love it. I want my dog to be familiar socialize with as many dogs as he can. I've been there many of times, since I live in Avalon and have never had an issue. There are multiple bins for poop with bags as well, I've never seen anyone ignore their dog's mess.

    Where is it??

The address posted is not accurate. I've been trying to find the park for weeks & can't find it. I heard it's hidden...a bit too well apparently.

    Horrible Experience

Older lady often at park with two medium sized pitbull mixes. These dogs are untrained and unsocialized. They growled at my me and my son as well as our trained German Shepherd through the entrance gate. The lady stood back and let her dogs continue to charge at the gate while I unfastened mine from her leash in the fenced area. To say the least they attacked my dog and the lady left in a screaming fit acting as though my dog had done something wrong. I am livid! This was the first and last time we visit this park... we have always enjoyed further parks like Baldwin and Waterford; this is one I will NOT return to. I'm disgusted.

    Basic but nice

We've been here a bunch of times. Its just a rectangular fenced in area with a track-like sidewalk path around it--nothing fancy. There are always large dogs there though, and people don't pick up after their pets.

    Nightmare Park

Pretty park, fairly well kept - problem with other dogs though - three different visits, all the same. large - unsocialized, untrained and mannered dogs with no leash and owners chatting away paying no attention at all. Actually was knocked over on one visit by a large dog that came running at me thinking it was cute - lunged from the back. Please note, my dog is not exactly a pipsqueak at 60 pounds - just no manners there from dogs or owners.
