The dog-friendly Southaven County Park is a popular picnicking site in Yaphank, NY. Boating and freshwater fishing are permitted. The Carmans River flows through this scenic, pine-oak forested park. Camping is also available, with sites for tents and trailers. Leashed dogs are welcome. Parking fee only during summer, Memorial to Labor Day weekends.
