Merlin Olsen Central Park

Merlin Olsen Central Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Logan, UT. Dogs are allowed off leash responsibly in the back half of Merlin Olson park only. Through the tunnel to the power plant area there is a large area all around the fenced power plant where dogs can run free. The rest of the park on the main side is not dog friendly. This area is not fenced but is very large and on a quiet road. There is a nice river for dogs to swim and garbage cans for waste. Visit Website

Great park
There are many signs posted notifying that dogs are not allowed in this park. However, if you find the tunnel on the west side of the park you will be led to a separate park with a different name (Pioneer Parkway) that is a designated dog park.

Our favorite park
we love this park and walk here multiple times a week. We have had two encounters of people walking an unfriendly leashed dog through the park on the path but caught our boys in time. it is a new off leash area and not everyone is aware of this so be cautious. of leashed dogs and pedestrians. the river is great and my boys love coming here to swim and run zoomies.
