Nice big open space with bags for dog waste however the fence is too high off the ground where small-medium dogs can get out under but also not tall enough that medium-big dogs can jump over it. We have seen multiple dogs get out (including our own) because of this that now we don’t go anymore. There is also no double entry or water available. Beautiful space but unfortunately they cared more about aesthetics then practicality

Easy to get to, beautiful neighborhood, chill people, most of the dogs that go are well behaved. You do have to have a trained dog that listens because of the fence (its short and off the ground) but I've never had an issue. The only con is on Saturday it's packed!!!!

Cool park in a nice neighbourhood. Easy parking. One huge fenced in property. The only reason i gave 4 is because there's a lot of poop. Oh and bring your own water.

I just moved to Dallas from East Texas, where dog parks are scarce to say the least. My three year old Golden Retriever visited this park for the first time today and did beautifully! The park is a very nice size and covered with green grass. There are benches in the shade where owners were comfortable to sit and read while the dogs played. 90% of the dogs there (in the late evening) were larger dogs. For smaller dogs, especially ones that like to escape, I'd be wary. There are gaps, while not large, in some places under the picket fence. The fence was plenty high enough, in my opinion. This will be my staple park!
Bring water! Clean up bags are provided. - HeatherMore than a year agoGreat area with some major flaws
This is a great small downtown park. I'm hesitant to take my dogs there, however, because there are some serious and scary flaws. My three major concerns are: 1) The fence is only about 2-3 feet high. If you have a jumper, don't bring your bump. 2) Along the bottom of the fence, there is are 5-10 or more inch gaps between the ground and the bottom of the fence. 3) There aren't double gate entries.
The bottom line is that if you have a curious or escape-prone pup, they're probably going to get out. Add to this that the park is downtown and the likelihood your pup could get hit by a car is pretty high, it's a scary mix. My dogs are good and listen well, but I'm always too nervous to actually enjoy the park. If you have excellent voice control over your dog and they have zero desire to explore, then this is probably a great park for you.

This is a great interactive park for dogs, and people too! Arrive between 4:30 - 6:30 pm weekdays for the social hour. Tr ees and shade are around the perimeter. And, yes please do bring water as there is no water line at the park. It is well kept. There are doggie bags available in case you didn't bring your own.
