Antelope Island State Park

Antelope Island State Park is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed pooch along to explore multiple hiking trails that vary in difficulty and terrain. Keep your eyes peeled for the herd of wild bison on the island while you make your way around the trails. While you're there, admire the views of Great Salt Lake and stunning surrounding mountain views. Dog owners must clean up any mess that is left behind. Entrance into the park is $15 per vehicle. The park is open every day of the week from 6am to 10pm. Visit Website

    Careful of Bison

Beautiful park to visit but be careful of the wildlife. also watch out for bugs during the summer.

    holy views!

ok seriously, this place is GORGEOUS. spent a solid 3 hours there early in the morning and it was like we had the park to ourselves.

pros: great views no matter where you look. tons of trails that all allow pets (must be leashed). tons of photo ops. wildlife (BISON!?!). not far from SLC

cons: BUGS. so. many. flies. and spiders. it was a little much but it gets better the further from the shore of the lake.
