Offering something for everyone via interactive play spaces, sports courts, walking paths, outdoor fitness stations and an amphitheater that makes a great place to view Borrego's dark sky designation, this park is not to be missed if you're visiting Borrego Springs with your pooch. The highlight is the fenced dog park supported by the Tail Is Up Foundation, which allows big and small dogs to play freely in the desert surroundings. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind. The park is always open.

The dog park has two fenced off leash areas differentiated by dog size. The area for large dogs is basic gravel and dirt with a few large boulders. It is a reasonable size. The small dog area is nicer (though smaller) and includes a few shade trees as well as a covered bench for humans.
