Hungry Mother State Park
Hungry Mother, one of the original six Virginia State Parks, is known for beautiful woodlands and a placid 108-acre lake in the heart of the mountains. Dogs are allowed at Hungry Mother State Park Campground and trails, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle.
