Drottningholm Palace - the Royal Parks

Open year round, the most popular park for visitors is Drottningholm Palace Park which takes you through a formal garden planned in the late 17th century. Situated in The Baroque Garden are grand bronze sculptures which are cast copies of originals by the Dutch sculptor Adriaen de Vries. A walk to the gardens around the Chinese Pavillion will lead you past waterways lined with chestnut trees. The English Park has two ponds with canals, islands and beautiful bridges, large lawns, groves and tree-lined avenues.
