Longhorn Cavern State Park

Fido is welcome on above-ground hiking trails at Longhorn Cavern State Park, a dog-friendly attraction in Burnet, TX. Leashed pets can accompany you on scenic paths and in shaded picnic areas, but are not permitted to enter the cavern or park buildings. Pets must be supervised at all times and cannot be left unattended in vehicles. Developed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Longhorn Cavern State Park exhibits some of the best examples of historic architecture and invites visitors to marvel at the striking underground cavern.
