Extending 49 miles south from the town of Wise River, MT, this route leads visitors past towering 10,000 foot granite peaks, rich dense forest, and vast mountain meadows. The road gently ascends to 7,800 ft between the Wise River and Grasshopper Creek. Along this scenic drive with Fido, stop to admire expansive views from Grasshopper Overlook and Jacobson Meadow. The road is officially closed from December 1st to May 15th between Pettingill parking lot to the north and Elkhorn Hot Springs to the south. Visit Website
