Mount Major in Alton, NH with a summit of 1,786 feet, offers hiking trails with spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee. You and Fido can enjoy multiple trails with round trip hikes totaling 3 to 3.9 miles. Be aware that the upper ledges are steep and dangerous in wet or icy conditions.
