Kuaokalā Forest Reserve

Kuaokala Forest Reserve is a pet-friendly natural area in Waialua, HI. While not all the trails in this reserve allow leashed dogs to join in the fun, you can bring your dog for a hike on the Kuaokala Trail, which is just under five miles and rated moderately difficult. This out-and-back trail leads to stunning views of the Hawaiian backcountry. Or, take a longer wander on the difficult Kealia Trail that's just over 7.5 miles and heads up a mountain ridge with ocean views from the top. Visit Website
