Dog Run at Mahoney Park
Four-legged friends are invited to visit the dog run at Mahoney Park in Lincoln, NE. This fenced recreation area offers two separate spaces: a four-acre area for large dogs and a one-acre space for small pups to play and exercise off-leash. Amenities include a seasonal water fountain for humans and canines, walking trails, a covered restroom, and ample parking. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park.

We come from Central Lincoln at least 2 times a week to bring our 2 senior dogs here. One lap in the large dog park is perfect for them. They can run through the taller grass in the center of the park, or stay near us on the paved trail around 2/3 of the loop. The last part is not paved, but is well packed. Most other dogs are well behaved.
