My Old Kentucky State Park
Check out the pet-friendly My Old Kentucky State Park located in Bardstown, KY. Leashed furry friends are welcome at this recreation area, which was the inspiration for Stephen Foster's famous ballad, "My Old Kentucky Home". Pets are not permitted inside the mansion but can tour the grounds with you, and there are plenty of opportunities for picnicking, birdwatching and camping. Please note dogs must be leashed at all times, and an additional fee is required when camping with Fido.
