Swanquarter National Wildlife Refuge
Swanquarter National Wildlife Refuge is a pet-friendly preservation area in in Swanquarter, NC, home to diverse wildlife and 8,800 acres designated as a National Wilderness Area. While there are no marked trails, visitors can explore the upland portion of the refuge and enjoy wildlife observation and fishing opportunities. The pier off of Bell Island Road is a popular access point.
