Wayne National Forest
Wayne National Forest spans over a quarter million acres in the Appalachian foothills of southeastern Ohio, with Nelsonville, OH serving as a popular entry point with ample parking. Visitors can camp, hunt, fish, as well as hike with their pet on more than 400 miles of trails available throughout the forest. Dogs must be leashed or under voice control, and waste must be properly disposed of in latrines.
