Roan Mountain

Leashed pets are welcome to visit Roan Mountain in Bakersville, NC. This pet-friendly recreation area is a five-mile-long ridge along the North Carolina-Tennessee border in the Unaka Range of the Southern Appalachians. Part of the Pisgah National Forest, it offers scenic views, rare species, and stunning rhododendron blooms in June. Visit Website
