Leashed dogs are also welcome to join you on the beach along Lake McDonald in Apgar Village, but note that pets aren't allowed in the water. Dogs aren't allowed on any park trails but are permitted in drive-in campgrounds, along park roads open to motor vehicles and in picnic areas. All pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet, under physical restraint or caged, and may not be left unattended. Take a look at the many boarding options in surrounding parks if need be.
