Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail

The Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Frenchtown! Delaware Trail Frenchtown

I walk my dogs here frequently. It is a lovely place and the dogs love it. I like to walk north from the parking lot towards Milford because it is not crowded and after about a mile, I can let my dogs run ( they are quite good off lead) . We walk to the end of the trail and then go down the dirt road on the West side for a bit through the lovely field and out to the bench .
