    Very Welcoming to our Pup

Our greyhound was welcomed into most shops as we strolled along during the evening. Quaint little village shops with a nice variety to choose from.

    So dog-friendly!

Loved this cute little area!! We walked up and down the strip with our chocolate lab - many shops were dog-friendly but The Village was the best by far. Our lab loved all the attention from dog-friendly shoppers and owners.

    Quaint and Quiet

One minute you’re on a loud and extremely busy main street

    Welcome

we brought our puppy in a backpack. we saw several other dogs. the streets were very crowded and a little overwhelming for our pup. after a bit he got use to it. the shops were welcoming.

    Very Dog Friendly Area

Area seemed to be very dog friendly. We kept our Brussels Griffon in a stroller for the majority of our trip to Gatlinburg and most stores not only in The Villge but the town in general were quite friendly and welcoming to pets.

    Loved my german shepherd

This was a great location to walk around with my german shepherd and visit the stores.e Every store we wanted to go in he was welcome to visit. He received a lot of friendly attention from the shop owners. I was glad to see that there are dog people in Gatlinbrug since we were dissapointed he could not go on most of the trails with us.

Love the shops in this area.

The shops that didn't have pet welcome signs, I would ask if I could bring in my Shih tzu and they said yes! Very dog friendly area!!

More dog friendly then you think.

We walked the entire area downtown with my dog on the leash. Very friendly, maybe a half dozen shops let us in with the dog. Most places will allow them with a stroller. I'm sure more places would alow them in if you asked. Most places have sign posted on the window if dogs are allowed are not.

    Happy

If you have a small (less than 20 lb)) dog, I highly recommend getting a dog stroller. (I never thought I would own one, then I became the mom of a mini dachshund). My little girl went almost everywhere...we just didn't do the major attractions or restaurants. I took her in every store and the only thing that was said was that the dog was cute. My theory...unlike toddlers and young children in strollers...the puppy in a stroller won't be pulling things off the shelf!

a nice walk in the village

This is a very nice quaint village and it is dog friendly on the outside. There is one store that allows dogs (it is a pet related store) but all the others ones do not allow pets. You can sit in the fountain square area with your pets and have a bite to eat or drink with no issue. Our dogs loved the walk in the village and on the Parkway, where there are only other 2 other pet friendly stores and some pet friendly restaurants (patios). There were alot of stores along the Parkway that had water bowls set out for dogs though. We stopped along the way and sat and enjoyed the views with the dogs. If you did not have your puppies with you, this little shopping area is a gem to go and look into all the little shoppes.
