Butler Gulch Trail in Parshall, CO, is a 4.5-mile, pet-friendly hike in Arapaho National Forest that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. There is an unsightly (or interesting, depending on your point of view) molybdenum mine at the beginning of the hike, but it is an otherwise lovely hike with easy access to water, and an easy, shaded trail.
