Royal Arch Trail

Royal Arch Trail is a challenging and heavily trafficked 3.2-mile hike in Boulder, CO, that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. You can't get any closer to the vertical face of the Flatirons unless you are a climber, so bring Fido along to enjoy the views and exercise. Dogs must be leashed while on the trail. Visit Website

TripAdvisor

Royal Arch Trail is rated 4.7 bones out of 5 by 3 canine critics on BringFido, and 4.5 stars out of 5 by 66 guests on TripAdvisor.

Visitors to Royal Arch Trail praise it as a challenging and rewarding hike with impressive views, though they note it requires significant physical exertion and rocky terrain that may challenge inexperienced hiking dogs. Some reviewers mention a steep scramble section where dogs may need to be carried or unleashed, and caution that the trail's difficulty makes it better suited for experienced hikers and their canine companions.
